SPECIALIZATION COURSE IN INTRODUCTION TO GIS FOR DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION

The registration for the formaSIG Specialization Course in Introduction to Geographic Information Systems for Development Cooperation is already open and it will remain open until 27 February. The course is organized by the SIGTE of the University of Girona in collaboration with Ingeniería Sin Fronteras.

The main objective of the course is to facilitate understanding of the role that GIS can play in the field of Development Cooperation, understood as a technology for human development. It focuses mainly people from the world of cooperation they want to have some background in GIS adapted to this field. It is also expected to be of interest to people who already know about GIS but not their uses and adaptations in specific contexts such as development cooperation, with a special component of technology transfer and multiculturalism.
