The SIGTE celebrates the 10th ANNIVERSARY of UNIGIS Girona
The anniversary celebration was open to everybody and took place on 16th June at 7 p.m. in the graduation hall of the Faculty of Arts of the Universitat de Girona.
This year, UNIGIS Girona is celebrating the
10th edition of the Programme. For ten years it has been offering its students a specialised
Postgraduate and Masters programme in the field of GIS.
The
UNIGIS Girona is promoted and organised by the SIGTE (Geographical Information Systems and Remote Sensing Service) of the Universitat de Girona with the collaboration of the university’s Department of Geography, History and History of Art. It also has the support of the entire network of professionals and academics who make up the
UNIGIS International Association and have made it a world renowned programme as a leader in GIS distance education.
Many people are responsible for the success of the UNIGIS Girona Programme and that is why the 10th anniversary celebrations brought together teaching staff, the UNIGIS team, students and former students, and other professionals from the field of GIS.
