Last day to registration in the Annual GIS Open Source Conference. This 3rd edition will be held on Girona (Spain) from 11th to 13th of March 2009.

The GIS Open Source Conferences in Girona are an initiative of the University of Girona’s Geographical Information Systems and Remote Sensing Service (SIGTE) born a little more than two years ago. This Conferences deal with open source in the field of Geographic Information Systems, understanding GIS Open Source as the free access to GIS technology.

Among the Conference’s Highlights: Alfons Cornella (Infonomia), Simon Jirka (52º North GmbH), Malcolm Bain (ID Law Partners), Chris Holmes (The Open Planning Project), Enric Rodellas (APB) and Richard M.Stallman (FSF).
