The abstract for oral presentation in GIS4EU Workshop should be submitted by the 27 of February 2009. The Workshop will be held on March 18 -19, 2009 at the University of West Hungary.

The Workshop, organised by CORILA, the Institute of Geodesy, Cartography and Remote Sensing (FOMI) and the Faculty of Geoinformatics – University of West Hungary -, is a paramount opportunity for GIS experts, coming from industry, research institutions and administrations, to meet and exchange information and experiences.


The main focus of the event is to analyse the INSPIRE Directive (Infrastructure for Spatial Information in Europe) from a technical point of view and present the results of the recent EU projects in this field.
