Course: Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in the classroom
This course, organised by SIGTE and the Josep Pallach Institute of Education Sciences (ICE) of the University of Girona, is aimed at upper and lower secondary school teachers. Considering that GIS are a significant suport tool of many educational fields.
It will focus on ways that free GIS software can be directly related to the secondary school curriculum to make students self-sufficient users of GIS software and resources and explore their possible uses in teaching.
