VII GIS4EU MEETING
The GIS4EU Meeting is taking place these days, from 8th February, in Lisbon at the Instituto Geográfico Português (IGP). Aim of the meeting is to make a summary of the whole state of the art of the project and so discuss the final results and the elements of value of the activities already closed.
GIS4EU project aims at making available cartographic dataset (administrative units, hydrography, transport networks) at European level, as well as ensuring the accessibility and interoperability of these data at various spatial levels and different languages, according to the standards and requirements of INSPIRE Directive. Project founded by the European Community within the "eContentplus-Information Society and Media" programme.
