From 28th June to 9th July will take place the Summer School dedicated to Opensource GIS in Girona, organized by SIGTE of the University of Girona, and Ecole Centrale de Nantes, Aalto University and University of Nottingham as partners.

The program of this project aims to address the potential data sources are open and free software offered in the field of GIS, responding to the educational needs to enforce these existing technologies.
This project aims to create a space for research and development of new techniques, methods and applications with GIS tools opensource, as well as contribute to the development of cartography.
All this, ensuring the highest quality, rigor and internationalization results to enable the discuss and review about the application and development of software and free data.
