The series of conferences to promote the use of Geographic Information Technology, organized by the SIGTE and the Casa de Cultura de Girona, which consisted of four lectures, has been counted with 150 people linked  professionally or not, with geographic information and use of new technologies. It is certainly an initiative that demonstrates the power of geographic information and related not only in the professional field also in the daily context.
