READY FOR THE 5TH GIS OPEN SOURCE CONFERENCE

The 5th edition of the GIS Open Source Conference will be held from March 23 to 25 in Girona. The information about deadlines, venues, workshops,... is already available on the Conference's website, as well as the application of the registration. The information about keynotes will be included as soon as posible and we hope meet the expectations. That's always our aim.

Five editions, five years of GIS Open Source Software in Girona, at home. Many anecdotes, experiences, talks, laughs are left behind and a long journey ahead. March is when the looks of SIG turn to the northeast of the peninsula, the month when the GIS Open Source families meet in Girona with the aim of sharing knowledge and experiences, talking about projects, showing applications and developments and, why not, enjoying of those that we meet once a year in Girona.

We said goodbye to FOSS4G2010 in Barcelona, the great international event for the GIS Open Source Community. The circus has gone towards American lands but the GIS Open Source Conference will remain always here, in Girona. The GIS Open Soruce Conference are growing and improving, becoming a reference point of the Open Source GIS community,  due to your presence and participation.

Another year, another edition, we encourage you to visit Girona and to take part in the constant improvement of this event. You are at home, and we are waiting you (with or without snow!).

You can make your registration, and send us your papers proposals, becoming active and essential part of the conference.
